We went out with Captain Shaun and first mate Saloman. They were so helpful and so kind. They made us feel like long time friends just hanging out for the day. Although we really didn't catch too much due to weather they went above and beyond to try to make us catch more fish. Our time even ran over and they didn't seem to mind at all. Their main priority was making sure we caught some fish. I would highly recommend Captain Shaun and his company. We are returning in three weeks and will definitely be calling him again. Thank you to Captain Shaun and Saloman for treating us as we were family. You gave us the best day!!! See you soon.

My husband and I booked the shark fishing trip. Upon booking Captain Shaun was upfront and honest with us about the time of year not being a guarantee of catching one, which we didn't, but not because he didn't try. Shaun pulled out all of the tricks and stops to try to get us a shark. Him and his first mate Solomon were very friendly and entertaining which made the trip so much fun. We were also able to fish for other fish while trying to catch a shark which was successful. We will definitely be booking again during shark season and cannot wait!!

We have fished with Shaun 2 years in a row. First year went out inshore in the back bay and caught good redfish and black drum - had a better catch than others out of the same marina. Second year (May 2025) we went out in the gulf and caught good snapper and grouper and even had time to troll for some bonito before heading in. Shaun is a good fisherman who knows the local waters, plays by the rules and always works hard for his clients and does his best to make sure you have a good time and some fish for the cooler.

My family had the BEST experience!! Captain Shaun and his first mate Mikey were very knowledgeable, fun, kind and patient. There were three adults and two kiddos in our group and they made it so enjoyable for all of us. After about an hour of rough waters getting deeper into the ocean my five year old and I got incredibly sea sick and I finally had to ask to be brought back. They didn’t mind at all and Mikey was so nice and told me not to let this prevent me from going back out in the future and gave me advice on how to prevent this from happening again. You can tell he’s very passionate about this. They dropped us off and took the rest of my family out again and even stayed a bit past our time. My dad is very sick and this was probably the last time he will ever get out on a boat and fish and this couldn’t have been a better experience for him and I will always be grateful to them for that. My oldest son will never forget these memories. Sucks I had to miss out but I am so thankful for their compassion and their commitment to give their customers a great time. My boys caught so many fish and they cleaned them up for us and put the meat in freezer bags for us.

Captain Shaun was awesome, and our family had a blast! Shaun is extremely knowledgeable, personable, was great with our kids, and went out of his way to make this trip great for our entire family. We caught a good amount of fish and Shaun also recommended where we could take our catch to have it cooked. It made for a delicious meal! I recommend anyone considering a fishing charter to book with Captain Shaun. You will be happy you did!
